If you have gone digital with your photo frames, or just bought new ones, then you probably have a few old picture frames hiding up in the attic. You don’t have to throw these away at all. With a bit of creativity, there are a lot of different things that you could do with these. For example you can make a hanging kitchen sign using a piece of glass and two old picture frames. Just stencil on what you want to say and spice it up however you want to. You can also make a mirrored vase cover with your old picture frames. All you have to do is take four of them and glue them together into a cube shape. Another picture frame idea that will brighten up any room is to make a tight looking collage. By using vibrant fabrics and placing them within some matching frames, your home will be looking nicer in no time.

For example with a copper wire and a nice rounded-bottom bottle, you could actually make a great hanging planter. You could also make use of wine bottles to make classy looking candle holders. Just cut off the bottom and place your candle inside the bottle. Then position them both nicely on a sturdy base. You can even make bottles into oil lamps as well.

  • Recycling old blue jeans
Do you find that your jeans don’t fit anymore? Or maybe just want to clean out your closet by getting rid of your out-of-fashion clothes. You don’t have to throw away your blue jeans just yet, because here a few nice ideas on how you can reuse them. One nice home decorating idea is using your blue jeans and making them into area rugs or placemats. All you have to do to achieve this is cut some jean legs into rectangles. For an extra little design, you can sew on a pocket on one side of the mat, which you can use to hold your silverware and napkins. You could also make yourself some nice blue jean pillows. With some reused denim fabric, you could give a little flavor to your pillows which were once bland looking.

You can do so much with recycled items. Other ideas include using old high heel shoes to make coat racks and recycling cooking utensils and making them into a kitchen memo board. You can even take old mirrors and make them into decorative chess sets! Recycling old goods and turning them into beautiful home decorations is a great way to beautify your house.
